Standards

The process for the development, submission and ratification of TDWG Standards is currently under review and there will be important changes during 2006 and 2007. There will be a review of current standards, a programme will be proposed for updating or retiring older standards, new standards will be proposed and mechanisms proposed for the integration or incorporation of external standards.
