TDWG 2005: ESTIMATED COSTS

To help prospective delegates estimate their costs to attend the meeting we have drawn up this table of likely costs. Please note that we offer these estimates as a guide only and the TDWG does not guarantee their accuracy nor accept responsibility for any decision made or action taken by an individual based upon them.

Registration Fee	Non-TDWG Member	160 euro
	TDWG Personal (Individual) Member	130 euro
	TDWG Institutional Member (up to 3 delegates)	130 euro
	TDWG Institutional Member (4th and subsequent delegates)	160 euro

These rates will apply to registration payments made by credit/debit card on the Registration Site (that will be set up in May and a link posted here), and to cash payments arranged in advance with the TDWG Treasurer.

IMPORTANT: Delegates from the Russian Federation should register by contacting the Secretary of the Local Organising Committee Dr. Alexander Ryss (nema@zin.ru).

There will be an additional late registration fee after 23:59 GMT on 10 August.

TDWG 2005 Banquet (Wednesday 14 September evening)	45 euro
Evening Reception (Sunday 11 September)	"Bring a bottle and some food representing your country", or make a small donation in advance
Lunch (daily)	Average 10-15 euro or less	Lower cost lunches will be available some days at the Zoological Institute
Transport between the airport and the recommended hotels	5 euro each way	Only available on Sat 10 and Sun 18 September
Organised cultural excursion (Wednesday 14 September)	70 euro	Advance booking only (full details will be posted nearer the date)

Single room in the recommended hotels (range, per night)	42 euro to 74 euro
Double room in the recommended hotels (range, per night)	72 euro to 133 euro (single occupancy)

Good quality restaurants are available within walking distance of the recommended hotels. An evening meal might cost between 3 (self-service) and 10 euro (plus drinks). Inexpensive food is available in local supermarkets.
