A private session for TDWG Executive Business has been booked for the morning of 18 October but it may be possible to complete this business during short sessions throughout the week.

Why is the latest schedule different from that posted in June?

Quite simply, the amount of business to be conducted, and the number of paper abstracts received, have given us little choice but to add some items and lengthen some sessions. Back in June we encouraged delegates to attend the whole meeting is possible and we hope that very few delegates will be inconvenienced by the changes. This is going to be a jam-packed and we think very high quality TDWG meeting.

Please note that the Introduction to TDWG sessions we originally intended to hold have had to be shortened to accommodate a very full schedule of interrelated subgroup sessions but we encourage delegates to attend to bring yourselves up to date with what's been happening in the TDWG over the past few years.

All sessions are "open" - all delegates and guests are welcome to attend - but there will be check boxes on the Registration Site (to be put up in a few days) for delegates to indicate which sessions they are interested in attending. This is essential for planning the size of room required for each session.

All delegates and guests will be welcome at the Evening Reception. Delegates may register for the Banquet on the Registration Site in due course. Delegates will also be able to indicate their preference for the informal Field Trip on the Registration Site.
