UK-based developments in online thesauri for taxonomic information

The EU-funded Biological Collection Access Service for Europe has developed a comprehensive model for a multi-lingual thesaurus, together with a thesaurus editor. Nature Navigator an exploration tool for UK wildlife aimed for the general public incorporates a knowledgebase together with novel data visualisation.
