TDWG 2003 Registration and Charges

NOTICE: To help us organise a successful meeting it is vital that delegates register as early as possible. Please register if possible by the end of Sunday 19 October (Portugal time) - before would be helpful. Registrations after this date will attract a Late Registration Surcharge of €20 (twenty Euros). Registration will continue to be available until 24 October, on-line or in person at the meeting venue.

The Form will allow:

• registration of one or more delegates, with payment by credit card
• registration for individual plenary and subgroup sessions
  - IMPORTANT: please help us get seating arrangements right by completing this section
• reservations for the Evening Reception (24 October) and Banquet (25 October)
  - IMPORTANT: please help us get catering numbers right by completing this section
• payment of Individual or Institutional Membership Dues.

Non-Members are encouraged to take advantage of the member discount by submitting their joining payment via the Registration Form (there is no joining fee). Details of membership can be found here: Membership.

The Registration Fee is €100 (one hundred Euros) with a discount of €30 (thirty Euros) to paid-up TDWG members. The fee includes the following:

• Meeting Registration (including all meeting administrative expenses and Welcome Pack)
• Lunch on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October
• "Bring-a-Plate-from-your-Country" Evening Reception on 24 October (see the Banquet page for details)
• Most transportation from the recommended hotel to the meeting venue (and return)

The TDWG 2003 Banquet will be charged separately from the Registration Fee but delegates are strongly advised to book a seat at the time of Registration (on the Registration Site). The cost is €45. Partners are welcome to attend the Banquet if booked at the same time. See the Banquet page for details.

Other meals and refreshments are not included but may be obtained at low cost at the meeting venue. Typical prices may be:

• Coffee or light refreshments: less than €2
• Lunch: €5 - 6

All other expenses, including travel and accommodation, are the responsibility of the delegate. Special rates have been negotiated at the recommended hotel (see Hotel). Local travel advice may be viewed here: Travel.
