A special room rate has been negotiated at the Hotel Praia Mar, which is close to the Gulbenkian Institute. During the meeting, a shuttle bus will be arranged, but it is also possible to walk, or get a local train.

You can reserve rooms via the registration option on the hotel’s web site (in Portuguese). Attendees can fill in "TDWG 2003" in the last box named Comentários (Comments) - that will be enough for the special rates to apply.

The hotel will also accept booking in writings, by post, of course.
