The Annual Exhibition of Microscopy is one of the highlights of the microscopist’s year and is the showcase of members’ interests and activities. The event will contain:

Members’ exhibits on a wide range of microscopy

Photomicrographic exhibits

Members’ slide mounts

Guest Organisation Displays

Refreshments

We need your support to make this event a success! You can provide an exhibit of some of your work, or aspects of your collection, photomicrographs (digital or traditional), which will be considered for the award of a Barnard Certificate, slides prepared by yourself demonstrating technical excellence or novel technique, which will be considered for the Eric Marson award, or simply come and view the exhibits, renew acquaintances and make new friends. To split the workload of this major event, please note the following contacts:

Offers of slide mounts should be made to Mr Barry Ellam, 117 Straight Road, Lexden, Colchester, Essex.

Invitation Cards for friends, family and guests, and applications for car parking (restricted availability) should be made by sending an S.A.E. to QUEKEX, S.G.Moody 12 Chapelfields, Stanstead Abbotts, Herts, SG12 8HT or by email to the address given above.

Non members wishing to attend should also apply to Guy Moody.

Please note: No entry to Exhibition before 10:30 a.m. except for helpers and exhibitors. Exhibitors may only enter before 10:00 a.m. by applying to Mr S.G. Moody.

Please note car parking at the Museum is very limited. Exhibitors and the organising committee must notify Mr Moody well in advance if car parking is required so that this may be requested from the Museum. Neither the Museum nor QMC can offer any guarantee of parking being available.
