With thanks to Tony Dutton for the report and photographs. |

Another successful quiz evening was held on the 16th december, in the Dorothea Bate Room at the NHM.
The number of attendees was about 23 and the meeting was chaired by the President Pam Hamer. The quiz master was Guy Moody. The questions were in multiple choice form and viewed on the screen via the Club's digital projector ably operated by Charles Hussey. The subjects were all connected with microscopy and ranged from biological, geological, associated apparatus identification and the historical aspects.

Your fairly sober Curator/Collections Officer, Tony Dutton calling the meeting to attention by blowing the Quekett horn. This Victorian instrument was used over a hundred years ago to call to Members during their pond hunting excursions. It still sounds well and loudly too!
