John Garrett has provided a full report on the 2001 March Belstead meeting. This sounds a thoroughly enjoyable event, and I shall make every effort to attend next year. And now he's provided a report on the September meeting - I hadn't realised there were two meetings each year. You can pack a lot of microscopy into the year - provided you're prepared to travel a bit!

The Estuarine and Coastal Sciences Association (ECSA) hold courses, often with a microscopical element, which may be of interest to members. Like ourselves they are a charity. I have recently enjoyed a 'Coastal Taxonomy' course with them - read about it here
