The International Trust for Zoological Nomenclature (ITZN or “the Trust”) was established in 1947, registered in England as a non profit company limited by guarantee. ITZN acts on behalf of the Commission to raise and administer funds in accordance with the policy of the Commission and the International Union of Biological Sciences (IUBS).
