List of open cases
To allow zoologists to easily check names in process with the Commission, a list of open cases (i.e. cases which have been published and for which no Opinion has been issued yet), arranged by taxonomic grouping, is made available both as a PDF document and an Excel report (with collapsed categories - see help); this list is updated monthly.
Cases which appear in black (“published” status) are open for comments (see instructions for submitting comments).
Cases which appear in grey (“voting” status) are under consideration for voting. The official period for comments is over, and only substantive information indicating that the Case or previous Comments were incomplete or incorrect should be submitted at this stage.
Please note that, due to software limitation, it is not possible to have species names appear in italics.
