*  Bryophytes of the Mascarene Islands

This is a collaborative project initiated by colleagues based at Université de la Réunion, Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris and the University of Cape Town.  The aims are to produce a bryophyte flora of the Mascarene Islands.

Several members of the TBG contributed to a taxonomic workshop on Réunion Island in September 2008.

* Mosses and Liverworts of Uganda (MALOU)

These pages will grow to become a species level bryophyte flora of Uganda.  Individual family treatments will be added as they are available.

* TBG expeditions to Uganda (1996-1998)

The TBG expeditions to Uganda resulted in a large number of specimen collections which are being studied for this floristic treatment.

  * Lesotho 1997

Several TBG members have been involved in expeditions to Lesotho and neighbouring areas of South Africa, organised by Professor Jeff Duckett as part of an ongoing link between QMW College, London University and National University of Lesotho.

* Malawi 1991

The BBS-TBG organised an expedition to Malawi in 1991.

The bryophyte collections made on this expedition have resulted in a number of taxonomic papers in the series British Bryological Society Expedition to Mulanje Mountain, Malawi.
