Wild Trax: Art at the Museum

Event information

Event type: Workshop, special event

Location: NHM at Tring

Ticket prices:

Free

Are you aged 14 - 18? Do you live in Buckinghamshire or Hertfordshire? Then come and join our Wild Trax event.

Feel inspired by the specimens at the Museum in this special event. As the only ones in the Museum, you’ll hear about the amazing stories of our specimens. You’ll then get up close to our handling specimens and use them for a piece of creative art.

Bookings are essential and no accompanying adults please. All participants must bring a completed parent/guardian consent form to take part in the event.

At this event, you’ll meet experts and learn new skills before having the opportunity to join Wild Trax to put your talents to the test. Design and complete a project of your own (in groups or individually) with our support. The subject of the project is up to you as long as it’s based in Tring or Aylesbury and benefits nature in some way.

As recognition and thanks for your time volunteering, you’ll receive an award. It’s a helpful way to show your skills and interests to universities and future employers, especially if you’re interested in working with the natural world.
