Authors

Richard Herrington worked in mineral exploration for a number of years before joining the Natural History Museum in 1991. Gold has been a major focus of his research at the Museum. 

Chris Stanley is Associate Keeper of Mineralogy at the Natural History Museum, and a specialist on ore mineralogy. He has more than 20 years of research and consultancy experience.

Robert Symes retired as Keeper in the Department of Mineralogy at the Natural History Museum in 1997. He is a particular expert on minerals of the UK.
