Steven Swaby is a museum professional with over 15 years experience of writing and editing for a variety of international public audiences.
Steven Swaby - Senior Researcher and Content Developer
He is an award-winning writer and frequent contributing author and editor of books on a variety of natural history topics. His passion for the natural world has led him to conduct expeditions and lead wildlife-watching tours to remote places on five continents. This first-hand experience gives him a powerful insight when communicating with clients and developing attraction concepts that inspire people about nature.
Formerly Senior Editor for the Museum's Public Engagement Group, Steven worked on the development and delivery of over 30 exhibitions before joining the Planning and Design Consulting team on its inception in 2004. He now heads a dedicated team of researchers and developers working internationally on a variety of consulting projects. He has a BA Honours degree from Exeter University, England, and holds an IDQ environmental research qualification from the Natural History Museum, London.
