Freedom of Information - your right to know

The Freedom of Information (FIO) Act 2000 comes into full force on 1 January 2005.

The Museum is committed to openness and facilitating easy access to all types of recorded information about its collections, services and corporate activities. This information is available to you, free of charge or for a specified fee.

Help us to respond quickly by giving us as much detail as possible about the kind of information you wish to access and contact details.

Normally responses will be within 20 working days of receipt of request.

You will be informed of whether the information exists and how it may be accessed or received.

Please note that some information may be withheld legally from automatic public access. A response will be given to you, outlining clearly the reason for doing so, should the occasion arise.
