The Museum is a popular place to volunteer, especially if you're interested in natural history. We have over 400 active volunteers in many diverse roles, including a small number of internships.

V Factor

We have now filled all the places for our V Factor volunteer sessions in 2012, but you can see our V Factor volunteers and scientists in action in the Specimen Preparation Area every Monday and Friday.

Work experience

Our Work experience programme for students in Year 10 up to 18 year olds has relaunched. The next placements are for:
