Trustee vacancies
Trustee positions are often filled by leading scientists or people who have made contributions to universities, museums, business and public affairs. Vacancies are occasionally advertised here and on the website for the Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS).
The Museum shares the government's commitment to ensuring that the process of appointments to its Board of Trustees is open, transparent and based on merit.
We are looking for 2 trustees currently. One is a Biodiversity Science Trusteeship (Co-option appointment). The other is a Business and Commerce Trusteeship (Prime Ministerial appointment).
The Museum invites applications for these positions on the Board of Trustees to start early February 2013. The closing date for Business and Commerce applications is 16 November 2012. The closing date for Biodiversity Science applications is 6 December 2012.
Each role is for a term of 4 years with potential for reappointment.
