  • Called to the English Bar in 1988 and appointed Queen's Counsel in 2003. Also called to the New York Bar in 1988
  • Appointed to sit as a Deputy High Court Judge in 2006
  • A Trustee of the National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts (NESTA) from 1999-2006
  • BA in Physics & Philosophy from Oxford, LLM from Harvard.
  • Additional interests in biodiversity and architecture
