Turbulent Landscapes
19 April – 15 September 2002
Turbulent Landscapes is a collaboration with the San Francisco Exploratorium that explores patterns in nature. Visitors experiment with interactive exhibits created by six international artists, while Scarabeus Theatre perform a spectacular interpretation of natural phenomena.

Earth from the Air:
20 June – 31 October 2003
A Photographic Portrait of Our Planet Aerial photographs by Yann Arthus-Bertrand went on display during the summer in the Museum's first outdoor exhibition, Earth from the Air. The images capture the characteristics and patterns of the natural world.

Traces
4 July 2002 – 24 March 2003
Artist Paul Rosenbloom takes his inspiration from the Museum's collection of graptolites (the fossil remains of extinct zooplankton), and his techniques are inspired by the creative processes used by aboriginal artists. The results can be seen in Paul Rosenbloom's Traces.
